Lawn maintenance · Yakima & Tri-Cities
Residential and commercial lawn maintenance
A full-service property care program for homes and businesses: mowing, edging, shrub trimming, irrigation upkeep, landscape enhancements and aeration, coordinated by one company.
Chapter 01
What a weekly crew does on a property
Colonial calls it the Full-Service Property Care Program: one company coordinating every task a landscape needs, packaged around the property instead of sold as separate jobs. The core is mowing, edging, shrub trimming, irrigation upkeep, landscape enhancements and aeration.
The weekly work is the plain part. Crews clear litter and debris each visit and rake up and dispose of leaves in the fall, because a layer of either blocks sunlight from the grass, and grass that cannot photosynthesize does not stay healthy. Edging follows the lawn's own shape, and the irrigation gets checked so the lawn, trees and shrubs are not left short on water.

One program for homes, a plan built around business hours
Homeowners get the same program, with shrubs and trees trimmed, fresh mulch or compost added on a periodic basis, and aeration where the soil is compacted or heavy with clay. Mulch limits weed growth and holds soil in place, and compost adds nutrients and improves soil structure. Colonial also lists snow removal for properties in the Tri-Cities and in Yakima.
A commercial plan starts with a walk of the grounds. It is sized to the property, its layout and how people use the space, and it can be scheduled around business hours so customers, employees and deliveries are not disturbed. Colonial's commercial pages describe weekly, bi-weekly or custom schedules covering mowing, edging, trimming, fertilizing, weed control, irrigation checks and seasonal cleanups.
Chapter 03
Which office mows where
Mowing is offered from the Yakima office at 1118 W Washington Ave, according to Colonial's own estimate form. The commercial plan pages for Richland, Kennewick and Pasco also describe mowing, edging and trimming, while the Tri-Cities office's list on the same form reads fertilizer and weed control, irrigation maintenance, pest control and weed control.
Colonial notes that some services may not be available in some areas. Call the office closest to the property, Yakima at (509) 966-1655 or the Tri-Cities at (509) 371-1655, and ask what is offered at that address before you plan around it. Estimates are done in person, and a rough satellite figure is available first if you want one.
