Sprinkler maintenance in the Tri-Cities

The Tri-Cities is dry, and a sprinkler system that is off by a few degrees or a few minutes shows up as brown patches. A Colonial technician comes seven times a season to keep it right.

Seven checks, one season

The program sends a technician to your property seven times between start-up and winterization. Each visit checks that everything involving the sprinklers is working, and we adjust the watering schedule as the season changes. Catching a problem early means a small adjustment or repair instead of a major one.

That keeps the lawn out of the two usual failures: dry spots where a head is blocked or misaligned, and soggy beds where a zone runs too long.

Spring start-up

Turning a system back on after freezing weather is not like opening a kitchen tap. A sprinkler system has many components, and if it is reactivated the wrong way some of them can burst. A technician brings it up correctly and checks every zone, so the lawn and beds get proper water from day one.

Fall winterization

A small amount of water left in the lines can freeze over winter and crack fittings and pipe. Our technicians blow out the lines so the water is purged from the system before the first hard freeze. Call after the weather cools and we will winterize the system.

Design, installation and repair

Colonial also designs, installs and repairs sprinkler systems. Irrigation maintenance is one of the services the Tri-Cities office handles. Call to book a start-up in spring or a blowout in the fall.
